Since Oct 2003 we at Yojindo have tought the style of Wado Ryu Karate to students of all age's young and old as well as families, We pride ourselves on the fact that we make no room for discriminations of any kind!!

All our club instructors and students from blue belt onwards carry basic first aid skills,this is mandatory before a student can take a dan grade and i believe it also promotes an awareness of self well being.

Dan Grade instructors from the age of 18 years onwards must all submit to C,R,B checks before they are allowed to teach junior students.

We at Yojindo Karate Club are in association with WYSOK West Yorkshire Schools Of Karate  and there are 4 gradings held each year so progress within the form can be swift, depending on your ability and determination. We always say its no race to get there while at the same time trying to help you reach your goal and perform Wado Ryu at the highest possible level.

Also as we are part of the WYSOK association there are many other courses and events held troughout the year, Which include two tournaments per year other styes of martial arts i,e JU-JITSU and MU-CHINDO courses are also held on regular intervals. We also hold traditional Okinawan weapons courses trough the year, However along with the tounaments you need to be a member of a club within the association to attend.
